Aplus.Net Looks to the Future
An interview with Alex Yevelev, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Aplus.Net
CWH: "We’ve heard rumors that Aplus.Net is evolving. What can you tell us?"
Aplus.Net: "We are beginning a journey to the new Aplus.Net by changing the fundamental ways we do business. Sure, there will be the new logo, new website, and the new interface that will be the face of Aplus.Net, but going past the skin, we are truly restructuring the basic principles by which we interact with our customers. In fact, at our company-wide meeting in July, we unveiled new internal corporate philosophies that will shape our business model throughout the next few years. It’s an exciting time to be at Aplus.Net. Also, we will be refining our selection of products and services to take advantage of our proven skills and talents. Our three priority services are shared and dedicated hosting and a new line called WebImage, which we acquired late last year. You’ll see more on WebImage throughout the coming months."
CWH: "In what ways will this evolution impact your reputation throughout the hosting industry?"
Aplus.Net: "You should expect to see us translate our current industry success into a new method of operation, including the repositioning that our CEO, Gabriel Murphy, initiated over two years ago. Our three main fortes paired with a realigned vision and values statement represent our new focus on customer success, not just customer service. In our physical location, we’re restructuring our corporate offices to respond more efficiently to the increasing demands on a worldwide company such as ours. Recently, we expanded our office space in Overland Park to encompass a growing staff—we haven’t stopped hiring since we moved here—and we have been implementing some competitive benefits to make Aplus.Net a coveted employer."
CWH: "What do successful Aplus.Net customers look like?"
Aplus.Net: "We attract a clientele that possesses an entrepreneurial spirit as well as a drive to be successful. Small- and medium-sized businesses benefit the most from the services that Aplus.Net has to offer, although we can provide a marketing solution to any customer, regardless of size or subject."
CWH: "What can your customers expect from Aplus.Net from this point forward?"
Aplus.Net: "Aplus.Net succeeds when our customers succeed; that is our primary focus. Our 24/7/365 live support recently went through a reorganization and some advanced training programs to guarantee that our customers are receiving the highest levels of support. In fact, in July, we implemented a brand-new support chat system to facilitate this new outlook—it’s another sign that our organization is maturing. As our customers contact us about the few issues that may arise, they will notice that we are taking on new roles: each member of our support team is a kind of quality assurance expert for each case they’re assigned to. By implementing such a dedicated support mantra, we’re ensuring that each and every Aplus.Net customer can rely on prompt and accurate responses in every instance."
CWH: "What should we watch for at Aplus.Net in the coming months?"
Aplus.Net: "We are currently spending a significant amount of resources to expand WebImage. These services will evolve into Aplus.Net’s signature line and provide a mural of marketing solutions. This is a major undertaking for Aplus.Net – be watching for different iterations as we build on WebImage as a highlighted service."
