Atlanta, Georgia - (Website Hosting Directory) - October 6, 2008 - Web hosting provider, NetDepot, has debuted the launch of its new Virtual Private Servers (VPS), designed as a cost effective solution for customers interested in the server market.
Virtualization is considered a great way to save money, energy and to optimize the space available. VPS systems have the advantage over low end servers because they are on higher end multi core machines which have a fully raided drive array for the same price. With the addition of the VPS offerings, NetDepot will no longer sell their P3 line of dedicated servers.
Jeff Hinkle, President of Net Depot remarked, ''Virtualization is an important part of the web hosting business and we believe this additional product will take NetDepot's offering to the next level. VPS is recommended to customers looking for a low price option with high quality product and performance.''
To help the launch, the new VPS system is being offered for $1 per month for the first 2 months through December 31, 2008. The offer is valid for one VPS order per customer through December 31, 2008. After two months, the monthly fee reverts to regular published prices. The offer is not valid to customers already receiving hosting services at the AtlantaNAP datacenter.
NetDepot's VPS system comes standard with HyperVM Management Portal, reboot access, Automated OS reloads and LX Admin control panel. Each VPS offering comes with the customers' choice of operating systems including CentOS, Fidora, Gentoo, Ubuntu and Debian. Customers are also able to upgrade their control panel to cPanel for $10 per month and can purchase additional IP addresses for $1 per IP per month, as part of the new trio of different offering levels.
