Atlanta, Georgia - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - July 24, 2008 - AtlantaNAP has executed a 10 year, up to $10 Million deal, to provide backup services, with Emory University.
Emory University will provide real time backup of their data to the servers in the Atlanta colocation facility. Emory has extended their 10G ring from Atlanta Gas Light Networks to the facility for high capacity online backup and archival.
AtlantaNAP is a premier Atlanta colocation facility implemented by Global Net Access, LLC that is located in West Atlanta. AtlantaNAP just finished the expansion of their new Enterprise Data Center in May 2008 which has added 12,500 additional square feet of cage colocation, cabinet colocation and rack colocation space. Emory University was the first client to reside in the new Data Center with up to 5,000 square feet of cage colocation space and fully redundant power feeds as part of their deal.
