Business owners were requested to submit a graphic depicting their business and a short statement of less than 50 characters which would finish the statement 'We believe…' BasicLink, a San Diego based small business for over 11 years, founded by Daniel Seiden of Coronado, entered the contest with the statement 'We Believe in Real Web Hosting, Beyond Expectation.', and included a graphic especially designed for the contest. The contest entries were judged on the following criteria: 25% originality, 25% expression of theme, 25% clarity of statement and 25% quality of the photo.
Basiclink's slogan refers to the origins of a true web host, or a company that hosts other business websites.
