Herndon, Virginia - (The Hosting News) - March 12, 2007 - Web hosting provider, domain name registration and services firm, Network Solutions, has been acquired by General Atlantic, a global private equity firm, from Najafi Companies (formerly Pivotal Private Equity).
General Atlantic Managing Directors, Mark Dzialga and Anton Levy, as well as additional directors, will join the Network Solutions Board of Directors. Champ Mitchell, Chairman and CEO of Network Solutions, and the current Network Solutions management team, will continue to lead the company.
Mr. Mitchell remarked, “Our new partnership with General Atlantic will help us continue to grow our business by enhancing and expanding our product set while continuing to provide our customers with an outstanding customer service experience.
