Houston, Texas - (The Hosting News) - February 22, 2007 - Privately held dedicated hosting company, The Planet, has expanded both of its Dallas and Houston data center operations, including an additional 25,000 square feet, for a total data center footprint of 175,000 square feet.
Through the end of 2007, the company plans data center additions that will bring the total to 215,000 square feet. Approximately 60 percent of the space is located in Dallas, with the remainder in Houston. The Dallas operation has opened, and the Houston data center will begin serving customers by the end of March.
