Diversified Server Portfolio for Both Dedicated and Managed Services Launched at Codero

With a continued focus on making dedicated hosting more affordable, Codero has expanded its entry level product offering, with all servers in the Webmaster Class being priced competitively at or under $100 per month. This lineup includes Celeron 430 (1.8GHz, 1GB RAM), Pentium Dual Core (2.6GHz, 1GB RAM), Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.86GHz, 1GB RAM) and the Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.0GHz, 1GB RAM).

Updates to the Professional Class include the introduction of Intel processors using the Nehalem microarchitecture, which include the Core i5 Quad Core (2.66GHz, 2GB RAM) and the Core i7 Quad Core (2.8GHz, 2GB RAM). Both processors provide increased performance and Intel’s Turbo Boost technology, allowing up to 3.2GHz on the Core i5 and 3.46GHz for the Core i7.

The Enterprise Class has been revamped to include three new 2x Xeon Quad Core servers ranging from 2.13 – 2.66GHz with 2GB RAM. These Quad Core servers are not only energy efficient for those green hosting conscience businesses, but they also provide an increase of up to 50% in performance when compared to Dual Core processors in the same power range.

Additionally, the Dell lineup has been completely refreshed with the PowerEdge R-Series of servers, and includes the PowerEdge R410, R610 and R710 rack servers.
