Codero Offers Secure Hosting Environment for Cardholder Data through PCI Compliance

Overland Park, Kan. – Through a comprehensive review of its data center infrastructure – including networks, web applications, operating systems and other services – to assess account data security, Codero (www.codero.com) has met all requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). PCI Compliance represents minimum payment-processing security measures to ensure all companies process, store and transmit debit and credit card information while maintaining a secure environment.

Assessment of Codero’s Phoenix data center was completed by an independent auditor as of March 18, 2010. A recently re-designed space within the building now includes a secure cardholder data environment, mandating strict access via badge readers and 24/7/365 camera surveillance. This caged-off area also features separate environmental controls (cooling, etc.) and an isolated electrical network.
