Codero Hosting Expands with New Austin Office, Names Chandler Vaughn SVP of Product Development

AUSTIN, TEXAS, NOVEMBER 27, 2012 — Codero Hosting (www.codero.com), a leading provider of dedicated, managed, and cloud hybrid hosting services, announced its expansion with its new Austin, Texas office and the addition of Chandler Vaughn as SVP of Product Development. This is the company’s third office with headquarters in Lenexa, Kan. and a location in Phoenix. Codero provides hosting services from its Phoenix, Chicago, and Ashburn, Va. data centers.

The Austin office will be home to Codero President and CEO Emil Sayegh, members of the product development, marketing, customer support, and sales teams. Vaughn will be responsible for directing and building out development, product management, and strategic alliances for the company.

Vaughn was most recently with SunGard where he was VP of Cloud Product Development. He ran SunGard’s technical design and engineering efforts for the Cloud and Managed Services businesses, and defined the technical strategy for both the Recovery Services and the Managed Services businesses. Vaughn also served as the founder and head of the Cloud Computing Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin, a project for which he was named as the inventor on several pending patents for Distributed and Cloud Computing. Before joining SunGard in early 2010, Vaughn was with Rackspace where he launched both the Rackspace Cloud Servers and Cloud Files products lines. He also led the Product Management and Product Marketing teams for Rackspace’s Managed Hosting business through Rackspace’s accelerated growth prior to IPO.
